Open House – May 7, 2016

Kindred Farm has a full house….So we’re having an open house!

We now have 20 horses on our farm looking for homes.  These horses were pulled from the slaughter pipeline and subsequent human consumption. They have been given a second chance and are now ready for loving and knowledgeable homes. This will free up a spot for the farm to save another horse.

Come to our open house where we will be explaining “Dressage” with some demonstrations of dressage tests ridden by our volunteers on some of the horses. You will have an opportunity to meet some of the horses and the volunteers who help keep the farm going, as well as the farm owner Tanya Boyd, who will be available to answer any questions you may have regarding the farm and the plight of horses who find themselves at risk of slaughter.
